About the position

As an Instructional Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees in the Banking Operations sector. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze training needs, design engaging learning experiences, and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to create instructional materials that are aligned with business objectives and learner needs. This position requires a deep understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to apply various instructional design methodologies to create impactful training solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills among employees. You will utilize various instructional design tools and technologies to develop e-learning modules, instructor-led training sessions, and blended learning solutions. Your creativity and innovation will be essential in designing interactive and engaging content that resonates with learners and promotes knowledge retention. Additionally, you will be tasked with evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. You will continuously seek opportunities for improvement and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in instructional design and training delivery. Your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in instructional design and development of training programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Proficiency in e-learning development tools and software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Certification in instructional design or related fields.
