About the position

The Instructional Designer will develop engaging learning activities and course content specifically for mobile crisis care teams. This role focuses on collaborating with subject matter experts to apply instructional design theories and utilize multimedia and authoring tools to enhance learning experiences. The position requires optimizing content to create high-quality audio, visual, and interactive materials, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines to meet diverse community needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging learning activities and course content for mobile crisis care teams.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to apply instructional design theories.
• Utilize multimedia and authoring tools to enhance learning experiences.
• Create high-quality audio, visual, and interactive materials, including courses, assessments, podcasts, and eBooks.
• Ensure content aligns with state and federal guidelines.
• Deploy courses to Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Support the technical implementation of learning tools.
• Conduct training sessions for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of instructional design theories.
• Proven experience in creating accessible content.
• Expertise in tools such as Articulate Storyline and Captivate.
