Our client is currently seeking an Instructional Designer who will play a pivotal role in the analysis, design, development, and evaluation of various learning modalities including eLearning, classroom learning (both live and virtual), blended learning, and informal learning. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for planning, organizing, and developing training curricula, materials, and programs tailored to meet specific learning needs. This position requires close collaboration with subject matter experts to thoroughly understand their needs and to conduct comprehensive needs assessments. The designer will employ training program design strategies to create programs and curricula that are responsive to current business needs, accommodating multiple skill levels and grounded in learning theory. The successful candidate will ensure that all learning solutions align with organizational goals and priorities. Creativity is essential, as the designer will be tasked with building engaging curricula using a variety of methods, including eLearning, classroom instruction, and assessments. Applying instructional design theories, standards, and best practices is crucial to producing effective learning and development solutions while maximizing quality and minimizing costs. The Instructional Designer will also be responsible for developing and managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables according to approved project plans. In addition, the role involves managing relationships with key stakeholders to evaluate and assess the success of the delivered content. The designer will analyze training trends and business needs by examining learner satisfaction levels, proficiency testing, and job performance metrics. Staying abreast of the emerging learning technology environment is vital to drive design and development within the teams. The Instructional Designer will also be expected to learn and apply new technologies to the design, development, and delivery of online learning, which may include audio, video, and animation. Coordination with outside contractors and vendors will be required as necessary.
