About the position

The Instructional Designer position at ITTrail Blazers is a full-time, contract role based in Manhattan, NY. The primary focus of this role is to oversee the operations and development of online programs and computer-based virtual courses. The eLearning Specialist will be responsible for transforming traditional content into engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles. This position requires a well-rounded educator who possesses an interdisciplinary education and skill set, allowing them to adapt to various instructional needs and challenges. In this role, the Instructional Designer will create online training modules, ensuring that the content is not only informative but also engaging for learners. Regular review, revision, and updating of online materials will be essential to maintain the relevance and effectiveness of the training programs. The candidate will also be tasked with identifying and assessing training needs within the organization, which will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the training provided meets the specific requirements of the learners. Additionally, troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to the online training programs will be a critical part of the daily responsibilities, ensuring a smooth learning experience for all participants.
