About the position

As an Instructional Designer at TEKsystems, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of effective training programs. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze source content, target audience demographics, job tasks, and learner environments to identify clear learning objectives and appropriate instructional strategies. You will utilize the Train the Trainer materials provided by PWC and customize them for Instructor Led Training sessions, ensuring that the training is relevant and engaging for participants. In this position, you will design and develop a variety of learning materials tailored to meet the needs of different audiences. You will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather input and insights that will inform the creation and modification of instructional materials. Quality Assurance will be a key aspect of your role, as you will organize, perform, and oversee the final review of materials to ensure that all concepts are accurately developed and presented. Additionally, you will provide clients with essential support materials to guide the rollout of training programs, including Train-the-Trainer resources. Conducting Alpha and Beta Client Reviews will be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to prepare for final verification and ensure that the training meets the highest standards before implementation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze source content, target audience demographics, job tasks, and learner environment to identify learning objectives and appropriate instructional strategies.
• Utilize PWC provided Train the Trainer materials and customize Instructor Led Training.
• Design and develop learning materials.
• Analyze input from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create and modify instructional materials.
• Organize, perform and oversee Quality Assurance of final materials to ensure concepts are properly developed.
• Provide clients with support materials to guide rollout of training programs - Train-the-Trainer, etc.
• Conduct Alpha and Beta Client Reviews in preparation for Final verification.

Requirements

• Proven experience in instructional design and development of training materials.
• Strong analytical skills to assess content and audience needs.
• Ability to customize training materials based on provided guidelines.
• Experience working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and analyze input.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and ensure quality assurance.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with e-learning development tools and software.
