About the position

The Instructional Designer will be a key member of the Training and Development team at Ross University School of Medicine, focusing on creating effective training programs tailored to the enrollment team. This role emphasizes the development of engaging content that enhances sales methodologies and supports enrollment advisors in their roles. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure training aligns with strategic goals and is data-driven for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging training modules and materials focusing on strategic enrollment methodologies and best practices.
  • Design comprehensive onboarding and ongoing learning experiences for the enrollment team.
  • Create content that enhances key skills for fostering prospect engagement and conversion.
  • Ensure a consistent and scalable training approach across the enrollment team.
  • Measure the impact of training and refine programs based on data and insights.
  • Design assessments and quizzes to gauge learning outcomes.
  • Analyze performance data to identify skill gaps and recommend targeted training interventions.
  • Collaborate with enrollment leaders and other stakeholders to identify training needs and gather relevant content.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to incorporate best practices into training materials.
  • Utilize e-learning authoring tools to build interactive training modules.
  • Manage course content within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Manage multiple instructional design projects and ensure accessibility of training materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning and Development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in instructional design for sales teams or enrollment advisors in higher education.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies, including consultative sales and pipeline management.
  • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
