The Division of Continuing Education (CE) at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking an Instructional Designer (ID) to join their Learning Design Group (LDG). This full-time position is essential for collaborating with faculty and subject matter experts to design and develop engaging and accessible learning experiences that cater to diverse learners. The ID will utilize the current Learning Management System (LMS) and other educational technologies to enhance the quality of online courses, ensuring they align with the University's educational objectives and promote student success. The ID will also contribute to the continuous improvement of course content and instructional design strategies, ensuring that all learning materials are current and effective. In addition to instructional design responsibilities, the ID will be involved in resource coordination, helping to maintain and develop resources for the LDG website and staying updated on the latest learning technologies, including the use of Artificial Intelligence in education. The position requires occasional on-campus attendance for meetings and events, although remote work is available.
