About the position

The Instructional Designer will collaborate with Trimble's Sales Enablement team and subject matter experts to create engaging training content that supports product launches and ongoing enablement. This role involves producing video content, designing eLearning modules, and developing instructional materials that adhere to adult learning principles. The designer will also ensure compliance with standards and manage content within learning management systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Sales Enablement team and subject matter experts to create training content.
• Record, edit, and produce video content.
• Design and develop eLearning content.
• Package eLearning and videos into learning modules.
• Create instructional materials that are functional, intuitive, and interactive.
• Use adult learning best practices to identify learning objectives and performance outcomes.
• Consult with Program Managers to identify learning gaps and content requirements.
• Audit content for ADA compliance.
• Work with Program Managers to ensure materials adhere to standards.
• Add content to learning management systems and manage learner assignments.
• Provide basic administration and training for sales enablement tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Adult Education, Instructional Systems Design, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of work experience in instructional design or video production, preferably with a software company.
• Experience using multimedia authoring tools (such as Camtasia, Articulate, Adobe) to develop online learning.
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a complex, changing business environment.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as an administrator of learning management systems and/or sales enablement platforms (such as Docebo, Gong, Seismic).
• Working knowledge of streaming audio and video, compression methods, file types, and format.
• Experience with sales enablement, revenue operations, and instructor-led training development.
• Experience creating job aids and presentation materials.
• Experience with technical writing.
• Experience using Google Suite.
