About the position

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating and implementing effective learning solutions across various formats, including eLearning, classroom, and blended learning. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to assess training needs and develop curricula that align with organizational goals. The designer will utilize instructional design theories and best practices to ensure high-quality training materials while managing project timelines and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis, design, development, and evaluation of eLearning and classroom learning.
  • Plan, organize, and develop training curricula and materials to meet specific learning needs.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to understand training needs.
  • Conduct needs assessments and design training programs responsive to business needs.
  • Ensure learning solutions align with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Build engaging curriculum using various methods such as eLearning and classroom assessments.
  • Apply instructional design theories and best practices to produce effective learning solutions.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables according to project plans.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to evaluate the success of delivered content.
  • Analyze training trends and business needs through learner satisfaction and performance metrics.
  • Stay updated on emerging learning technologies to enhance design and development.
  • Learn and apply new technologies for online learning delivery, including audio and video.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in delivering informal training.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver a Leadership program tailored to specific organizational needs.
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to create leadership content.
  • Ability to engage an audience of 5-100 with varied levels of leadership experience.
