The Instructional-District Resource Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in coordinating educational placements and ensuring that appropriate services are provided for students with disabilities. This position is responsible for serving as the Local Education Agency (LEA) representative during eligibility, re-evaluation, and Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings at assigned schools. The specialist will assist schools in implementing the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) as well as federal and state regulations that pertain to students with disabilities. In addition to compliance responsibilities, the specialist will provide support to schools in various areas, including curriculum and instruction, behavior supports, service delivery models, and staff development.
