Responsibilities

• Maintain automotive laboratory equipment in working order.
• Order supplies.
• Assist faculty and students during lab periods.
• Consult with suppliers.
• Ensure equipment standards.
• Support other academic needs assigned by the supervisor and the faculty.
• Manage the welding laboratory stocking, organization, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Proven record of successful maintenance of automotive or related equipment.
• Organizational skills and ability to receive inventory and parts.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and possess good people skills.
• Willingness to learn and stay current in the automotive industry.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate degree in the automotive or related field.
• Three years' experience with repair work.
• ASE certifications (can be earned while working).
• Bonus of a NYS Inspector's License (can be earned while working).
