About the position

The Instructional System Designer position at Booz Allen Hamilton focuses on developing transformative training for Information Warfare officers and enlisted personnel. The designer will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and instructors to create learner-centered curricula and training materials, utilizing evaluation methodologies to ensure maximum impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop training programs that transform Information Warfare officer and enlisted training.
• Collaborate with SMEs and instructors to capture training needs and recommend learning solutions.
• Design curriculum and scenarios centered around the learner's experience.
• Build training materials following the PADDIE+M model.
• Communicate effectively with SMEs and instructors throughout the design process.
• Collect and analyze training results using evaluation methodologies such as the Kirkpatrick Model.
• Continuously fine-tune training solutions for maximum effectiveness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with instructional systems design, training needs analysis, and implementation for adult learners.
• 3+ years of experience writing instructor-led curriculum and storyboards.
• TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Certification in Instructional Design, User Experience, or Human-Centered Design.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Navy PADDIE +M process.
• Experience with Authoring Instructional Material (AIM) Content Planning Module (CPM) and Learning Objects-Module (LOM).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
