About the position

Metris Global is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to join our dedicated team. As a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), we are committed to assisting government entities in identifying and solving complex problems. Our team, composed of special operations and interagency advisors, provides a range of professional services, including full spectrum pre-deployment and full mission profile (FMP) training exercises. In this role, the Instructional Systems Designer will be responsible for the design and development of instructional materials that meet client-specific requirements and adhere to standard operating procedures. The ISD will collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs and develop effective instructional strategies. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality training solutions that enhance the capabilities of our clients. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop instructional materials in accordance with client-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs.
  • Develop effective instructional strategies and assessments.
  • Ensure all instructional materials adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve instructional materials based on feedback and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in instructional design and development.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using instructional design software and tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with military or government training programs.
