As an Instructional System Designer at Booz Allen, you will play a pivotal role in developing training programs that leverage technology to enhance the Department of Defense (DoD) Lifecycle Management Platform. Your primary responsibility will be to utilize your technical skills, creativity, and experience to collect, manage, and publish instructional material content. You will also recommend tool solutions that align with business needs, budget constraints, and content development requirements. This position offers the unique opportunity to build training programs from the ground up, both for internal and external audiences. In this role, you will be at the forefront of recommending cutting-edge multimedia technologies and strategies, including blended learning approaches, to create a successful learning environment. Collaborating closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and product designers, you will capture customer training needs and advise on the most effective learning solutions to help them achieve their mission. By placing the learner at the center of the training experience, you will design engaging training materials and performance support tools that cater to various learning modalities. To ensure the effectiveness of your training solutions, you will employ evaluation methodologies such as the Kirkpatrick Model to collect and analyze results, allowing you to fine-tune your training for maximum impact. This position is an excellent opportunity for you to apply your deep understanding of training methodologies to create a creative learning experience that not only trains and engages external users but also empowers team members with the necessary tools to deliver exceptional client engagements across all areas.
