About the position

The Instructional System Designer (ISD) at NATECH will play a crucial role in supporting the FAA National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) program. This position focuses on the planning, development, and delivery of training technical programs aimed at enhancing the efficiency and safety of the nation's aviation system.

Responsibilities

• Analyze training needs and develop programs to address them.
• Evaluate third-party training providers.
• Develop lesson plans and training materials.
• Manage the delivery of internal and externally-provided training.
• Administer tests or knowledge assessments to ensure understanding of training content.
• Provide train-the-trainer programs and qualify trainers for content delivery.

Requirements

• Experience in instructional design and training program development.
• Strong analytical skills to assess training needs.
• Ability to develop effective lesson plans and training materials.
• Experience in managing training delivery and evaluating training providers.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with aviation industry standards and practices.
• Experience with e-learning development tools.
• Certification in instructional design or related field.
