About the position

Noblis is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer (All Levels) to work in Springfield, VA, with an ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI clearance. The role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and clients to capture learning requirements and design effective learning solutions that enhance mission effectiveness. The designer will utilize learner-centric principles to create synchronous and asynchronous materials, ensuring compliance with Section 508 standards and using various rapid development tools. The position emphasizes continuous improvement through evaluation methodologies, particularly the Kirkpatrick Model, to ensure the learning solutions meet expectations and drive performance improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, scientists, and clients to capture learning requirements.
  • Design synchronous and asynchronous learning materials and performance support tools.
  • Utilize ADDIE and SAM models to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather information and feedback throughout the development process.
  • Collect and analyze results using evaluation methodologies, particularly the Kirkpatrick Model, to assess learning solutions.
  • Implement adjustments to learning solutions based on evaluation results to maximize continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
  • Experience working with subject matter experts and clients.
  • Experience conducting detailed training and/or job/task analyses.
  • Experience designing products that are Section 508 compliant.
  • Experience working in a team of instructional designers, graphic artists, and programmers in a client-focused consulting environment.
  • Experience in developing learning solutions for Intelligence Community agencies.
  • Experience designing and developing SCORM-conformant content.
  • Working knowledge of multiple rapid development tools (e.g., Presenter, Captivate, Articulate).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
