The Instructional Systems Designer II is responsible for creating and implementing effective learning programs and materials to enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of individuals within an organization. This role involves close collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify training needs, develop instructional objectives, design curriculum, and select appropriate delivery methods. The designer will be tasked with ensuring that the training materials are engaging and effective, utilizing various delivery methods such as instructor-led, computer-based, web-based, and mobile training. The position requires a strong understanding of instructional design principles and the ability to create accessible content that complies with 508 standards. In addition to designing and developing instructional approaches, the Instructional Systems Designer II will assist in analyzing training and media requirements, research data sources for instructional material development, and interact with SMEs to acquire supporting materials. The designer will also be responsible for developing training objectives and test methods, ensuring the integrity of task analysis, training requirements, instructional materials, and evaluation plans. The role demands creativity and innovation to solve complex problems and the ability to work within an agile development environment, scaling design efforts to meet production timelines and budget constraints without compromising instructional integrity. The designer will also be responsible for their own self-development by being receptive to training opportunities provided by the company.
