About the position

The Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) is responsible for designing, planning, and developing technical training curricula tailored to meet specific training needs. This role involves analyzing learning requirements and ensuring the sustainability of the curricula through validation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop technical training curricula to meet specific training needs.
  • Analyze learning needs and validate curricula effectiveness.
  • Sustain and update training materials based on feedback and learning outcomes.
  • Utilize instructional systems design methodologies in course development.
  • Implement outcomes-based instruction and behavior modeling in training programs.
  • Create storyboards and evaluate course effectiveness.
  • Leverage e-learning design and training development techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional systems design or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Three years of related experience, or a Master's degree with one year of experience, or a PhD with no experience but three years in instructional systems design.
  • Knowledge in course design and development using instructional systems design methodologies.
  • Experience in outcomes-based instruction, behavior modeling, and experiential training design.
  • Proficiency in e-learning design and training development.
  • Familiarity with computer support, video technology, and distance learning.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's or PhD in instructional systems design or related field.
  • Experience with advanced technologies in course and media design.
