About the position

Noblis is seeking a Mid-Level Instructional Systems Designer to collaborate with subject matter experts, scientists, and clients to enhance mission effectiveness through tailored learning solutions. The role involves designing both synchronous and asynchronous learning materials, utilizing learner-centric principles, and applying evaluation methodologies to ensure the effectiveness of the training provided. The designer will leverage their expertise in instructional design models to create engaging learning experiences while maintaining compliance with Section 508 standards.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and clients to capture learning requirements.
  • Design synchronous and asynchronous learning materials and performance support tools.
  • Utilize ADDIE and SAM models to develop engaging learning experiences.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback and ideas for innovative delivery techniques.
  • Collect and analyze results using evaluation methodologies, such as the Kirkpatrick Model, to assess learning solutions.
  • Implement adjustments to learning solutions based on evaluation results to maximize continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
  • Experience working with subject matter experts and clients
  • Experience conducting detailed training and/or job/task analyses
  • Experience designing products that are Section 508 compliant
  • Experience in a client-focused consulting environment with instructional designers, graphic artists, and programmers
  • Experience developing learning solutions for Intelligence Community agencies
  • Experience designing and developing SCORM-conformant content
  • Proficiency in multiple rapid development tools (e.g., Presenter, Captivate, Articulate)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
