About the position

Noblis is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer (Mid-Level) with an ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI clearance in Springfield, VA. In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts, scientists, and clients to capture learning requirements and recommend solutions that enhance mission effectiveness. Your work will involve leveraging learner-centric principles to design synchronous and asynchronous materials, as well as performance support tools that effectively improve performance while minimizing the time learners spend away from their mission. You will utilize the ADDIE and SAM models to create engaging and interactive learning experiences, drawing on your expertise and creativity to develop innovative solutions. Your strong communication skills will be essential as you engage regularly with stakeholders to solicit ideas, gather information, and incorporate feedback throughout the development process. To ensure that the learning solutions you deliver are meaningful and meet expectations, you will collect and analyze results using various evaluation methodologies, including the Kirkpatrick Model. This will allow you to assess and implement adjustments to learning solutions, maximizing continuous improvement. At Noblis, you will gain exposure to industry-leading expertise and subject matter that is transforming the tradecraft and overall mission effectiveness for our Intelligence Community clients. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, scientists, and clients to capture learning requirements.
  • Design synchronous and asynchronous learning materials and performance support tools.
  • Utilize ADDIE and SAM models to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Engage with stakeholders to solicit ideas and gather information for innovative delivery techniques.
  • Collect and analyze results using evaluation methodologies, such as the Kirkpatrick Model.
  • Assess and implement adjustments to learning solutions for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design or related field.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
  • Experience working with subject matter experts and clients.
  • Experience conducting detailed training and/or job/task analyses.
  • Experience designing products that are Section 508 compliant.
  • Experience in developing learning solutions for Intelligence Community agencies.
  • Experience designing and developing SCORM-conformant content.
  • Working knowledge of multiple rapid development tools (e.g., Presenter, Captivate, Articulate).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
