Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) with strong developer expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging and effective learning experiences, a deep understanding of instructional design principles, and advanced technical skills in eLearning development. This role will involve designing, developing, and implementing high-quality training programs using various tools and technologies. The Instructional Systems Designer will conduct needs analysis and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify learning objectives, ensuring that instructional integrity aligns with organizational goals and learner needs. In the realm of eLearning development, the ISD will be responsible for creating interactive eLearning modules using industry-standard authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate and Articulate 360. The role requires integrating multimedia elements like graphics, animations, and videos to enhance learning experiences, as well as customizing and developing SCORM-compliant courses for Learning Management Systems (LMS). Quality assurance testing and troubleshooting technical issues will also be key responsibilities to ensure seamless content delivery. The ISD will stay updated with the latest technology and instructional design trends to continuously enhance course offerings. Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools and experience with LMS administration and integration are essential. Familiarity with graphic design tools is a plus. The position also demands excellent communication and collaboration skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications in instructional design, eLearning development, or project management are advantageous. Additionally, the ISD will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget while coordinating with cross-functional teams. Implementing formative and summative evaluations to assess the effectiveness of training programs and analyzing feedback for continuous improvement will be crucial to the role.
