About the position

The Instructional Systems Designer will play a crucial role in enhancing training materials and developing new content to meet the evolving needs of the organization. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to transform complex technical information into accessible training solutions, ensuring effective learning experiences for employees.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Learning & Development (L&D) program owners to create compelling course content and activities that enhance learning retention and knowledge transfer.
  • Analyze business and learner needs, define learning requirements and objectives, and recommend effective learning modalities.
  • Design, develop, and deliver webinars, e-learning, instructor-led, virtual classroom, and blended learning solutions that meet professional standards for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit.
  • Work independently with internal subject matter experts and external vendors to create effective learning solutions.
  • Develop e-learning and other templates for rapid production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience required; experience in a professional services environment preferred.
  • Instructional design experience desired including high proficiency with e-learning tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise, Camtasia, and AI tools to produce voiceovers and write text, MS Word and PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat PDR editing tools.
  • Experience with virtual meeting platforms such as MS Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of adult-learning principles and instructional design theories and practices.
  • Ability to quickly synthesize and write course content based on input from subject matter experts, written material, previous training courses, interviews, etc.
