About the position

The Instructional Systems Designer role at Robert Half is a long-term contract position focused on developing, customizing, and managing training content within the learning and development industry. The designer will collaborate with clients and internal teams to create effective curriculum and training materials, while also staying updated on industry trends and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to assess and develop appropriate curriculum and format.
  • Assist in proposing client solutions by creating training outlines, agendas, and descriptions.
  • Customize content to fit the client's needs and performance objectives and develop new content as needed.
  • Manage training deliverables such as participant manuals, facilitator guides, slide decks, job aids, and tools.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends including delivery models, social and mobile learning.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Use software like Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Dreamweaver, Articulate Storyline, and Articulate Studio to create and deliver e-Learning Modules.
  • Apply Adult Learning Theory and Blended Learning concepts during the design and delivery of training.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables through AB Testing.
  • Maintain accurate records of training materials and activities.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Adobe Dreamweaver is required.
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline and Articulate Studio is essential.
  • Familiarity with AB Testing is a must-have.
  • Understanding of Adult Learning Theory is necessary.
  • Experience with Blended Learning is required.
  • Ability to manage and deliver key project deliverables.
  • Experience in creating e-Learning Modules is necessary.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Possess a creative and innovative mindset.
