About the position

The Instructional Systems Designer will work within the Global Data Insights & Analytics organization of a major OEM client in the Automotive Industry. This role focuses on consulting with subject matter experts and customers to develop and deliver effective training materials and content, primarily through virtual live events. The designer will utilize adult learning principles to create engaging training programs and evaluate their effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Analyze training needs in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Develop learning objectives and design instructional materials.
• Create online courses, manuals, job aids, and multimedia materials.
• Utilize adult learning principles to enhance training effectiveness.
• Evaluate training programs and implement necessary improvements.
• Develop assessment tools to measure learning outcomes.
• Research and stay updated on instructional design trends and technologies.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an instructional designer.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Expertise in talent development strategies and content.
• Proficiency with instructional design software and authoring tools.
• Experience with SharePoint and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct needs assessments for new customers and content.

Nice-to-haves

• Graphic design background.
• Professional writing experience, particularly in persuasive writing.
• Prior experience in AI or Analytics.
