About the position
The position of 7th/8th Grade Mathematics Instructor at East Tennessee State University involves teaching multi-level math classes to middle school students in a year-round public K-12 laboratory school setting. The instructor will integrate curriculum and mentor teacher candidates, contributing to the educational development of students and future educators.
Responsibilities
- Teach multi-level mathematics classes for grades 7 and 8.
- Integrate curriculum effectively to enhance student learning.
- Mentor teacher candidates in a laboratory school environment.
- Demonstrate effective teaching practices in the classroom.
Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for a Tennessee Educator License with appropriate endorsements by 12/1/24.
- Must provide documentation of successful teaching experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's Degree in Math or teaching preferred.
