Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, seminars, and laboratory offerings to undergraduate and graduate students.
• Develop course syllabi, select instructional materials, and design assessments such as exams and quizzes.
• Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and evaluate student learning outcomes.
• Engage students in active learning and foster critical thinking skills.
• Provide academic support and guidance to students through office hours and mentoring.
• Incorporate innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance student learning.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to improve teaching skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues and university staff to coordinate course offerings and program development.
• Participate in institutional service roles including college committees and student recruitment.

Requirements

• Earned master's degree in Psychology or a related field for Instructor position.
• Earned doctorate/terminal degree in Psychology or a related field for Professional Assistant Professor position.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrated record of teaching introductory and advanced level courses in statistics and research methods in psychology.
• Experience teaching online courses.
