About the position

As an Instructor for Pharmacy Tech at Management & Training Corporation (MTC), you will play a crucial role in delivering career technical training instruction according to approved curricula. Your primary responsibility will be to provide training and basic guidance to students, helping them achieve their technical training goals. This position is full-time, requiring 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, and offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $54,000 annually, depending on experience. In this role, you will be responsible for directing, instructing, and assisting students in designated areas of instruction. You will motivate and counsel students on various aspects, including behavior, training, personal issues, and study habits. Additionally, you will develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend changes to curricula, and suggest supplemental materials to enhance the learning experience. Regular audits of assigned areas will be part of your duties to ensure contractual compliance and the effectiveness of service delivery to students. You will also be tasked with preparing related reports and maintaining an organized, clean, and safe training environment. Participation in student assessment panels and performing required documentation and evaluations using the Center Information System (CIS) and other documentation systems will be essential components of your role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.

  • Recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.

  • Participate in student assessment panels and perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS and other documentation systems.

Requirements

  • 5 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Valid Pharmacy Technician License
  • PTCB Certification
  • Driver's License
  • Organizational skills
  • Associate's degree preferred.
