About the position

Additionally, the technician will maintain analyzers to ensure they meet operational requirements. The position demands a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting and problem-solving, as the technician will need to analyze issues and determine the best course of action to eliminate faults. The role is essential for maintaining the safety and efficiency of the plant's operations, and it requires a commitment to adhering to safety protocols and performing essential job functions safely. The technician will work closely with other team members to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner, contributing to the overall success of the plant's operations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and determine causes of faulty instrument conditions and eliminate them by repair, calibration, and adjustment.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance duties of instrumentation utilizing standard testing equipment.
  • Overhaul, clean, repair, adjust, and/or calibrate various types of instrumentation.
  • Install and adjust new equipment and accessories for use in new installations.
  • Maintain analyzers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience applicable to Instrumentation.
  • Technical, industrial, craft degree or other training applicable to Instrumentation.
  • Acceptable work history.
  • Ability to safely perform essential job functions.
  • Requires physical abilities to climb stairs and ladders and perform moderate lifting.
