About the position

The Instrumentation and Control Engineer will be responsible for performing complex engineering tasks within the Oil and Gas industry. This role involves preparing specifications, coordinating with team members, and providing technical guidance to ensure the efficient and accurate execution of engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Performing complex engineering tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Preparing and/or checking specifications for control systems and instrumentation.
• Creating location plans, equipment/instrument schedules, datasheets, and other necessary documents.
• Completing assignments such as drawings and specifications for procurement and construction purposes.
• Coordinating activities and deliverables with group leads and other engineers within the I&C discipline.
• Providing technical guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters, and lower-level engineers.
• Interfacing with other engineering disciplines and departments.
• Programming and configuring control system equipment.
• Preparing detailed requisitions for equipment and materials, including reviewing supplier drawing submittals.
• Supporting the commissioning and installation of field equipment.

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of related work experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E) registration is desirable but not required.
