About the position

The Instrumentation and Controls Engineer will manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on process control designs and coordinating with design teams to ensure successful project completion. This role requires effective multitasking, delegation, and prioritization skills, as well as collaboration with CAD designers and other engineers. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring at least one day per week onsite in either Littleton, Colorado, or Phoenix, Arizona.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 10-15 projects at different stages simultaneously.
  • Coordinate with CAD designers and other design engineers.
  • Develop process control designs including P&IDs and motor control schematics.
  • Create instrumentation details and network designs.
  • Integrate PLC systems into designs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 6-15+ years of experience in a Design Engineering role, preferably in a design/consulting firm.
  • PE license or the urgent ability to obtain one.
  • Experience in industrial facility/plant design, preferably related to water/wastewater treatment.
  • Cybersecurity background.
  • Networking background.
  • Experience in a client-facing capacity.
  • Drive for career longevity.
  • Ability to coordinate with a project team.
  • Experience with AutoCAD P&ID.
  • Familiarity with CADWorx and Bluebeam.
