The Instrumentation and Controls Engineer at Kerry is responsible for developing and implementing instrumentation testing protocols, preventive maintenance programs, and resource libraries for electricians. Responsibilities

• Development of Instrumentation Testing protocols and procedures
• Establishing Preventive Maintenance programs and procedures
• Creating a Resource Library for Electricians
• Ensuring instrumentation operation complies with quality parameters
• Identifying and scheduling routine/planned maintenance
• Troubleshooting technical issues or concerns
• Evaluating existing instrumentation and processes to improve system efficiency and reliability
• Conducting Root Cause analysis
• Assisting with training production staff if required
• Working with Operations and Engineering to design and develop new control processes
• Providing Controls support to Operations and Engineering as needed
• Assisting with the installation of new control processes
• May involve procurement and budgetary responsibility

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• 2 years' experience in chemical or other manufacturing/processing industry
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical standards, practices, instrumentation, and NEC code requirements
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Good analysis, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail
