About the position

As a key member of the Kerry team, you will be responsible for the development of Instrumentation Testing protocols and procedures, as well as Preventive Maintenance programs and procedures. Your role will also involve creating a Resource Library for Electricians to ensure that all instrumentation operations comply with quality parameters. You will assist in identifying and scheduling routine and planned maintenance, and provide support in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues or concerns that may arise in the operations. In addition, you will evaluate existing instrumentation and processes to enhance system efficiency and reliability. Conducting Root Cause Analysis will be a critical part of your responsibilities, as will assisting in training production staff when necessary. You will collaborate closely with Operations and Engineering teams to design and develop new control processes, and provide controls support as needed. Your role may also involve procurement and budgetary responsibilities, ensuring that all projects are completed within the allocated resources.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical standards, practices, instrumentation, and NEC code requirements
  • 2 years' experience in chemical or other manufacturing/processing industry
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and organizing skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analysis, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail
