About the position

The Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer will play a crucial role in the nuclear field, focusing on engineering and design tasks, providing technical support, and overseeing testing and simulation processes. This position requires extensive experience and knowledge in instrumentation and controls, particularly within the nuclear sector.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and re-engineering engineering and design drawings and change packages.
• Conduct calculations and overall technical evaluations.
• Provide onsite technical support and oversight for testing acceptance and simulation walkthroughs.
• Support the design and system upgrades from the construction phase through the implementation phase.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the nuclear field.
• Up-to-date LMS and Qual card with ENG-001 design qualifications.
• Strong background in Electrical or Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) engineering.
• Up-to-date Design Qualification from the most recent nuclear company.
• Hold a 50.59 qualification.
• Familiarity with Disturbed Control Systems or Programmable Logic Control systems.
