About the position

The Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing engineering and commissioning support for water and wastewater projects. This position focuses on ensuring that all project aspects align with safety standards and regulatory requirements while managing budgets and facilitating communication among stakeholders. The role is vital for the successful startup and commissioning of projects in the water/wastewater industry, contributing to the company's mission of providing meaningful work in a stable environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and commissioning support for I&C, SCADA, DPCS and startup/commissioning projects in the water/wastewater industries.
• Coordinate with engineers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure all aspects of each project are in alignment.
• Oversee site work, ensuring that all activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
• Resolve any issues or problems that arise during the project life cycle.
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Oversee the final startup of each project, ensuring that all systems are operational and meet project specifications.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in the construction industry, with a focus on water/wastewater projects strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of water, wastewater, and/or stormwater systems with well-rounded experience in all project life cycles including design, construction, and operation.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is strongly preferred.
