About the position

The Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer at Covestro plays a crucial role in supporting projects by providing expertise in PCT Technology and Engineering. This position focuses on ensuring project targets are met in terms of quality, cost, and schedule while adhering to safety standards and legal obligations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for PCT cost and schedule to reach project quality, cost and schedule
• Provide PCT related inputs to support project team with PCT know how
• Provide support to all relevant PCT safety and HAZOP activities to reach project safety goals
• Prepare documentation for PCT in EPDS 1-99 Project File Structure to ensure compliance
• Follow PCT related workflows and guidelines, coordinating technical personnel to ensure a complete PCT design package
• Provide technical expertise in the tendering process and negotiations with Project EPC and suppliers
• Support all necessary activities related to (Factory) Acceptance Tests to ensure project quality targets are achieved
• Support expediting for all PCT critical items to ensure quality and quantity of technical goods
• Evaluate scope changes to support project manager in steering the project
• Conduct and monitor proper execution of Functional Safety activities as per company guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation or Chemical Engineering
