About the position
The Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer will serve as a key technical interface with engineering firms during project developments, ensuring compliance with industry, nuclear, and regulatory standards. This role involves preparing and reviewing engineering documents and requires familiarity with various I&C systems.
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical interface with engineering firms during project developments.
- Prepare and review engineering documents to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Work on projects ranging from minor digital software adjustments to extensive I&C systems upgrades requiring NRC approval.
- Mentor new engineers in the field of instrumentation and controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Experience with instrumentation and control systems such as ladder logic, analog/digital systems, and power system analysis.
- Familiarity with computational tools related to I&C systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience as a cognizant engineer.
- Experience in engineering project management.
