About the position
The Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer will serve as a key technical interface with engineering firms during project developments. This role involves preparing and reviewing engineering documents to ensure compliance with industry, nuclear, and regulatory standards. The position encompasses a range of projects from minor software adjustments to significant I&C systems upgrades, necessitating prior NRC approval.
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical interface with engineering firms during project developments.
- Prepare and review engineering documents to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage various projects, including minor digital software adjustments and extensive I&C systems upgrades.
- Ensure all projects meet nuclear and regulatory standards.
- Mentor new engineers in the field.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Typically 4+ years of related work experience.
- Experience with instrumentation and control systems such as ladder logic, analog/digital systems, and power system analysis.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
