About The Position
Insulation Specialties, INC is actively seeking experienced insulation and sheet metal workers to join our team at the Clover Power Plant. This position involves the installation of insulation materials in various settings, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of safety and quality. The successful candidate will receive training provided by the employer, which will cover essential skills such as scaffolding, working in confined spaces, and understanding the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) for chemical safety. While prior experience in insulation installation is preferred, we also welcome candidates with a background in construction, particularly those with experience in framing, as this knowledge can be beneficial in understanding the overall construction process and working effectively on-site. As an insulation installer, you will be responsible for measuring and cutting insulation materials to fit specific areas, applying insulation to walls, ceilings, and floors, and ensuring that all installations comply with safety regulations and building codes. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The role may also require physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions, as installations may take place both indoors and outdoors.
