Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Solicit for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Earn and ask each customer for referrals and explain the referral program.
• Maintain knowledge of new products.
• Build outstanding relationships with clients.

Requirements

• Prior experience in sales or a related field, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Willingness to spend 75% or more of time on the phone.
• Career-minded vision with development towards Sales Leadership, Agency Management, or Agency Ownership.
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful, and coachable.
• Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
• Be a fantastic presenter.
• Confident and able to work well independently.
