About the position

The Insurance Account Manager at Encompass Risk Management is a part-time role focused on managing commercial insurance accounts while providing exceptional customer service and client relationship building. The position involves marketing accounts, interacting with underwriters, and ensuring client needs are met through effective communication and technical support. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a proven track record in account management within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of customer service and client relationship building.
• Market accounts and interact with underwriters to provide service and support.
• Assess client coverage needs and build professional relationships.
• Provide technical support to Producers and assist with account setup.
• Document and maintain customer files accurately and consistently.
• Respond to client and carrier requests accurately and on time.
• Identify client coverage needs and follow agency procedures.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance.
• Property & Casualty License is required.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Proven track record in commercial insurance account management.
• Knowledge of insurance applications and submission procedures.
• Outstanding knowledge of Office365.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

• Experience with insurance agency management systems.
