About the position

We are looking for a Sales Agent to join our team in our Glen Allen, VA office. This position is not remote and requires a strong local network and in-person relationship building within the community. As a Comparion Insurance sales agent, you will have the opportunity to develop a lucrative career by providing customers with Auto, Home, and Life insurance products from a variety of carriers. The role offers uncapped pay, including base salary, bonuses, prizes, and recognition that includes worldwide travel. You will also receive paid training (including licensing) and mentorships to help you pursue your career goals. Sales support is provided, allowing you to earn commissions for leads even if other team members close the deals. Comprehensive benefits are available from Day 1, including health and dental insurance, 401K, company-paid pension, paid time off, and flexible work arrangements to help you maintain a balance in your personal and professional life. The total average first-year earnings range from $65K to $85K through a combination of base, bonus, and uncapped commission, with the potential for top performers to earn over $150K. This position is eligible for the field sales compensation plan. Requirements

  • Previous employment in a sales representative role with a proven track record of turning prospects into customers.
  • A state insurance license or willingness to earn one with training and support in Property & Casualty, and Life insurance.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Well-developed persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines.
