We are looking for a Sales Agent to join our Oregon team at Comparion Insurance Agency, a Liberty Mutual company. As a Sales Agent, you will be responsible for building strong relationships within the local community, leveraging your local network to generate leads and close deals. This position is not remote, emphasizing the importance of in-person interactions and relationship building. Success in this role requires a highly driven and performance-oriented mindset. The agency provides paid training, including licensing, and mentorship for employees who are eager to pursue their career goals. Additionally, you will receive sales support, earning commissions for leads even if other team members close the deals. The total average first-year earnings for this role range from $65,000 to $85,000, with top performers having the potential to earn over $150,000. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the local community.
  • Prospect for new customers and generate leads.
  • Demonstrate resiliency and a strong work ethic to close deals.
  • Provide customers with Auto, Home, and Life insurance products from various carriers.
  • Participate in paid training and mentorship programs to enhance sales skills.
  • Collaborate with team members to support sales efforts and earn commissions on leads.

Requirements

  • Previous employment in a sales representative role with a proven track record of turning prospects into customers.
  • A state insurance license or willingness to earn one with training and support in Property & Casualty, and Life insurance.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Well-developed persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines.
