About the position

We are looking for a Sales Agent to join our team in our Bangor, ME office. This position is not remote and requires a strong local network and in-person relationship building within the community. As a Comparion Insurance sales agent, you will have the opportunity to develop a lucrative career by providing customers with Auto, Home, and Life insurance products from a variety of top national and regional carriers. Success in this role will require a highly driven and performing salesperson who enjoys prospecting for new customers and demonstrating resiliency in generating leads and closing deals. You will be part of a team that values friendly rivalries and encourages going above and beyond to win bonuses and awards, which can lead to exceptional compensation. In this role, you will enjoy uncapped pay, including a base salary, bonuses, prizes, and recognition that includes worldwide travel. The company offers paid training (including licensing) and mentorships for employees who want to pursue their career goals. You will also receive sales support, earning commissions for leads even if other team members close the deals. Requirements

  • Previous employment in a sales representative role with a proven track record of turning prospects into customers.
  • A state insurance license or willingness to earn one with training and support in Property & Casualty, and Life insurance.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Well-developed persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

  • Experience in the insurance industry.
