About the position

The Insurance Agent position at Kemper Life involves providing sales and service for a local insurance agency. The role requires engaging with clients to sell various insurance products, including life, rental, accidental, and cancer insurance, while also managing existing customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service and sales, with a focus on achieving sales targets and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales and service for a local insurance agency.
• Engage in monthly premium collections from clients.
• Retain and grow the existing customer base through excellent customer service.
• Sell various insurance products including Life Insurance, Rental Insurance, Accidental Insurance, and Cancer Insurance.
• Assist clients in obtaining necessary insurance coverage and support them with their insurance needs.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of customer service and sales experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Life Insurance License (215) and Property and Casualty Insurance License (2044) preferred, or must be obtained within 5 weeks of starting.
• Hands-on experience with Apple iPad and cell phone products.
• Reliable transportation with a valid Florida State Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

• Management experience in sales or collections is ideal.
