About the position

The Insurance and Annuity Sales Specialist - Director role at UBS involves providing support to financial advisors in Wealth Management by utilizing insured solutions to meet client investment and protection needs. This position requires collaboration across various business lines and functions to enhance the Wealth Management platform, focusing on the annuity industry and balancing sales and service support.

Responsibilities

• Building new and maintaining existing relationships with advisors and field leaders to increase adoption/sales of insurance and annuity solutions
• Conducting calls with financial advisors and clients on insurance and annuity products acting as their specialist
• Collaborating with advisors to include insurance and annuities as part of a financial or retirement plan for clients
• Executing on proactive call campaigns as well as responding to inbound product calls
• Giving proactive and reactive advice for advisors and field leaders on insurance and annuity products and structuring
• Coordinating, planning, and presenting both internal and external educational events for financial advisors
• Maintaining an effective relationship with internal and external insurance company partners to help drive business and increase activity
• Developing and maintaining training and educational materials designed to support the insured solutions businesses

Requirements

• Strong annuity experience
• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in financial services
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment
• Team player, ready to contribute and learn
• Willingness to travel to key markets when necessary (up to 25%)
• FINRA 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required
• Active Life & Health insurance license
