About The Position
The Insurance Authorization Specialist at the Center for Spinal Stenosis is responsible for verifying medical insurance policy benefits and obtaining necessary authorizations or precertifications prior to scheduled procedures. This role ensures that all procedural cases are authorized, referral and pre-authorization activities are completed, and that maximum patient and provider satisfaction is achieved. The specialist will also review medical records, communicate with relevant parties regarding authorization issues, and assist patients in understanding their benefits.
