About The Position

The position involves coordinating the resolution of claims and addressing daily claim issues. The role requires research into payer regulations to ensure accurate account resolution and compliance. Additionally, the position includes assisting billers with account-related questions and issues, providing training for new staff, and ongoing improvement training for the team. The individual will also maintain the account escalation queues and perform other duties as assigned by department leadership.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates written, interpersonal, or communication skills as appropriate to position.
  • Considerable knowledge of insurance regulations, federal and state insurance regulations, UB92 and 1500 billing requirements.
