About the position

The position involves processing, managing, and directing all Certificates of Insurance for the Structure Tone organization, primarily focusing on New York. The role requires collaboration with Project Teams and Risk Management to ensure compliance and proper issuance of certificates, utilizing specific insurance software for tracking and management.

Responsibilities

• Develop appropriate Certificate Information using VERTIKAL & DAY 2 PLUS insurance software.
• Track and review subcontractor certificates and issue Structure Tone Certificates for each project.
• Collaborate with Structure Tone's insurance broker to ensure timely and accurate certificate issuance.
• Work with Project Executives to develop and execute necessary Certificates.
• Direct subcontractors to make appropriate corrections to their certificates as needed.
• Alert Risk Management to any issues or concerns regarding non-compliant certificates.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the insurance and/or construction industry.
• Solid knowledge of Property/Casualty coverages, especially New York State requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in front of groups and lead discussions.
• Proven decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate situations and take clear actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with multiple parties and develop relationships.
• Excellent computer skills, including the ability to build spreadsheets for reporting.
• Superior planning and organization skills to manage multiple daily activities.
• Strong sense of integrity and ethics.
