About the position

The Insurance Channel Operations Manager will oversee the Partnerships and Exchange channels of Guardian's Retail segment, focusing on supporting the annual filing process for Retail products across government exchanges, conducting strategic analysis, and providing operational support to drive growth in these channels. This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategies, as well as monitoring regulatory impacts and competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Support the annual process for filing Retail products across 27+ government exchanges.
  • Perform strategic analysis and execute entry/exit strategies for new exchanges.
  • Collaborate with teams across the Group Benefits business to ensure alignment on delivery and execution for the Retail segment.
  • Conduct competitive analysis on pricing, features, and regulatory trends.
  • Provide operational support for the partnerships channel, including account management and performance analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to drive growth across exchange and partnerships channels.
  • Provide strategic and analytical support during the off-season for Exchange and Partnerships channels.
  • Monitor and project impacts of upcoming federal and state regulations.
  • Conduct new exchange entry/exit state analysis and competitive assessments.
  • Support Partner Management team during exchange off-season.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in insurance, government, product, or operations preferred.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with a track record of achieving results through others.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.
