About the position

Responsibilities

• Provide follow-up on insurance claims and resolve issues related to unpaid claims.
• Complete outstanding insurance reports and research insurance correspondence.
• Document all activities in the Medic computer system accurately.
• Follow up on customer inquiries and complaints regarding claims.
• Post insurance and patient receipts as necessary.
• Assist intra-departmentally to resolve accounts and improve processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in billing or insurance is preferred.
